This week the WVFC received notification we were awarded $14,563.18 through Pennsylvania's Fire Company and Emergency Services Grant annual program.

Funding from this grant award will allow the WVFC to purchase two "Fast Boards" for Rapid Intervention Team duties and an associated 8 hour training class, two thermal imaging cameras and two fire/rescue saws to replace older model saws.

We'd like to thank the Fire Commissioner's office as well as members of our state legislature that vote to continue to make this program available to us.
