On Tuesday January 3, during our weekly Tuesday training night at 1928 hours the WVFC, Rescue 34 (Newmanstown) and Western Berks EMS were dispatched for a unknown injury vehicle crash in the intersection. The WVFC was out the door quickly and arrived on scene to confirm no injuries, recalling Rescue 34 and handled spill control, debris clean-up and traffic control.

On Thursday January 5 at 1104 hours the WVFC along with Rescue 34 (Newmanstown), Rescue 31 (Keystone of Myerstown) and Western Berks EMS were sent to the intersection with a vehicle accident with entrapment. Deputy 47 arrived on scene establishing "Womelsdorf Command" with a two car crash and initially one passenger confined. Crews were able to gain access to the patient and Rescue 31 was recalled and fire crews took care of spill control, debris clean-up and traffic control.
