On Monday, December 5 just before 930pm the WVFC along with Rescue 34 (Newmanstown), Rescue 31 (Keystone of Myerstown) and Western Berks EMS were dispatched to the intersection of Routes 419 & 422 for a vehicle crash with entrapment.

Chief 47 arrived on scene with two vehicles involved and confirmed negative entrapment, holding the assignment to the WVFC, Rescue 34 and EMS. Crews assisted with patient care, debris clean-up and traffic control.
