0026 hours - WVFC along with the Robesonia FC were dispatched for a cooler on fire along the roadway at Rt. 422 & Hill Rd. in Heidelberg Twp. Units found the fire extinguished upon arrival.
0828 hours - Medical assist for lifting in Womelsdorf, assisting Western Berks EMS.
1042 hours - WVFC dumped the firehouse for a barn fire in the 900 Blk of William Penn Blvd just outside Womelsdorf Borough. Manpower from Engine and Ladder 47 assisted with extinguishment and overhaul and assisted with preventing the fire from extending into a maintenance shop. Tanker 47 assisted with water supply while Attack 47 established a fill site to fill tankers.
1302 hours - Ladder 47 was due to assist the Kutztown Fire Co in Lebanon County with a garage fire with possible entrapment. Fire arriving units confirmed a working fire and negative entrapment. Ladder 47 crew staged in manpower before being released. |
