After responding to 3 fires in 3 days, the calls continued on Monday.

Sunday night a crew from Engine 47 stood by as the second-due RIT team at a fully involved barn fire in South Heidelberg Twp., assisting the Western Berks FD.

On Monday At 6:00am the WVFC and Rescue 18 were dispatched to assist the Robesonia Fire Co. with a crash with entrapment involving a vehicle on its side in the 100 BLK of Bernville Rd. in Heidelberg Twp. The crew from Engine 47 stabilized the vehicle and removed the windshield which allowed the driver to self-extricate.

At 9:22am Tanker and Ladder 47 assisted the Keystone Fire Co of Rehersburg with a house fire on Teen Challenge Rd. Fortunately the incident was minor and was held to Co.27.
