On Saturday, March 16 around just prior to our annual banquet, one of our members came across a vehicle accident with injuries at Rts.419 & 422 in Womelsdorf and called 911. Volunteers from Engine and Attack 47 and Rescue 34 (Newmanstown) assisted with spill control, traffic control and debris clean-up. One driver was transported to a local hospital with an injury.

Sunday the WVFC responded to 3 medical assists in Womelsdorf and Heidelberg Twp. and a brush fire in North Heidelberg Twp. assisting the Bernville Fire Co., which was confirmed to be a controlled burn.
