Today just after noon, the WVFC was dispatched to assist the Western Berks Fire Dept. with a building fire at Reading Alloys in South Heidelberg Township. Command arrived with smoke from the roof line and a working fire.

Ladder and Engine 47 responded and upon arrival Ladder 47 set up for roof operations and assisted with opening up the roof above the fire. Engine 47 laid 200 feet of 5" supply line to complete the water supply from a pond on the property. The WVFC was on scene for almost 2 hours.
