On Friday, July 28 at 1356 hours, Ladder 47 was dispatched to assist the Western Berks FD at the Phoebe Berks Campus in Wernersville Borough for a structure fire. Initial units found a fire involving a tractor, pallets of hand sanitizer, and a garage and were able to quickly extinguish the majority of the fire. Six volunteers from Womelsdorf assisted with overhauling the pallets after a backhoe was brought in to tear them apart so firefighters could fully extinguish the fire. Ladder 47 was on scene for over an hour.
