Last week volunteers with the WVFC took part in our annual refresher training for Haz-Mat operations. This training is a requirement for all members of a fire company in the state. We were also joined by members of the Kutztown Community Fire Co. of Lebanon County.

Last night we invited crews from the Western Berks EMS and Newmanstown EMS to the firehouse so our members had the opportunity to go over equipment, uses and the equipment location on their ambulances. We run with these agencies on a daily basis so it's important we have an understanding about the equipment they carry, how to use it and where it is on their ambulances.
