Late Sunday night at 2332 hours the WVFC along with numerous mutual aid fire companies were dispatched to 467 Edison St. in South Heidelberg Twp. just outside Wernersville Borough to assist the Western Berks FD with a garage fire. Deputy 18-2 went on scene reporting a fully involved garage with multiple exposures.

Ladder 47 with 6 and Engine 47 with 4 responded and upon arrival assisted with extinguishment and overhaul. The WVFC was on scene for about 1 hour and 45 minutes with no injuries.
