On Tuesday October 25 at 1555 hours, the WVFC along with Newmanstown Rescue 34, Myerstown Rescue 31 and Western Berks EMS were dispatched to a vehicle accident with entrapment and fire in the 200 BLK of W. High St. in Womelsdorf.

Assistant 47-1 arrived on scene confirming no entrapment or fire and held the assignment to Co.47, Rescue 34, and EMS for a patient evaluation for a driver who appeared to have a medical emergency which caused the crash after he struck three parked vehicles. Fire personnel controlled fluids and cleaned up debris while fire police provided traffic control by closing High St. between 2nd & 3rd Sts. until the vehicles were cleared by the tow company. PA State Police investigated.
