| The Womelsdorf Vol. Fire Co. would like to thank Kathy Barry of the Kathy Barry Agency for her generous donation that enabled us to purchase two Emergency Plug devices.
As electric vehicles become more common in our community, these tools will play an important role in helping our firefighters operate more safely and effectively on emergency scenes involving EVs. These adapters will allow our crews to:
* Quickly and safely identify, access, and manage electric vehicle charging systems
* Improve scene safety during vehicle incidents
* Enhance our overall preparedness and training for modern vehicle technology
Donations like this directly support our ability to adapt to evolving hazards and continue providing the highest level of service to Womelsdorf Borough, Heidelberg Twp. and surrounding communities.
