| This morning just before 630am, the structure assignment was dispatched to 12 Lizzy Ln in Heidelberg Twp. bringing units from Womelsdorf and the surrounding area. Lizzy Ln. is a new road just off the 600 Blk of Hill Rd.
Assistant 47-1 arrived to find a 50’x30’ building with a working fire with smoke from the roof and established “Heidelberg Command”. Due to the rural area, two additional tankers were requested.
Due to tight access, Attack 47 responded and upon arrival crews stretched 2 lines inside while Ladder 47 set up for roof operations. Crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire, saving the structure, while Engine 26 supplied Attack 47

Units were on scene for 1.5 hours. The fire was accidental and there were no injuries. |
