On Tuesday, November 22 the WVFC met up with members of the South Lebanon Twp. Fire Dept. in Lebanon County at their Prescott station to conduct a review and operation refresher of our grain bin rescue equipment. In 2020 the WVFC was awarded this equipment through our local Nationwide Insurance agent Kathy Barry. We found out the South Lebanon Twp. FD also runs the same type of rescue equipment and we reached out to the SLFD to conduct a joint training.

Though our departments rarely run mutual-aid together it was a very productive evening with members learning different set-up methods, equipment familiarization and new equipment ideas and we plan to make this an annual exercise.
