Yesterday just before 8pm, Engine and Tanker 47 were dispatched to assist the Western Berks FD with a working house fire at 327 Texter Mountain Rd. in South Heidelberg Twp.

Initially Engine 47 was assigned to help establish a fill site at the Wernersville State Hospital with Engine 18-2. Once completed, E47 responded to the scene where the crew assisted with checking for extension and overhaul while Tanker 47 staged for water supply.

While at the fire at 9pm, an MVA was dispatched at Routes 419 & 422 in Womelsdorf. Coverage fire apparatis from Robesonia, Newmanstown and were dispatched however the assignment was recalled shortly after dispatch as PD reported no fire services were needed.
